The Education Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessment
The Education Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessment process must be carried out in a timely manner and there are maximum time limits for each part of the process. It takes a maximum of 20 weeks from the date they receive a request for assessment to the issue of a final plan (if a plan is issued).
