Charlie Mace
0–25 Coordinator
My Role
As the 0–25 Coordinator at SENDIASS, I work directly with children and young people aged 0–25, helping them understand their rights, have their voices heard and feel confident to take an active role in decisions about their future. I will:
- provide impartial information, advice and support about special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- help you understand the education, health and social care services available to you
- support you through SEND-related processes, including Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments, annual reviews and preparing for adulthood
- empower you to express your views, wishes and feelings and ensure they are listened to
- help you understand your rights and make informed decisions
- provide support by telephone, email, online or in person, depending on your needs
I also develop and deliver workshops, create accessible resources for children and young people, and work with schools, colleges and partner organisations to raise awareness of SENDIASS and improve access to support for young people across the borough.
